My Other Hobby

I decided a few years ago that there was a need for a new type of record label. I wasn’t sure why or what I thought the music industry needed, but I know everything was changing.

I founded Renot Records because of two main reasons:

  1. I love music
  2. I know how to build websites

I am musician myself. That’s me on the drums

I’ve designed and launched more than a dozen individual websites including miketoner.com, twittersongs.com, joshknightmusic.com, constantrevision.com, pixandtoner.com, soapostrophe.com

I also happen to be heavily invested in new music and up and coming bands.

This combination led me to the creation of a web design studio for musicians. Musicians tend to have a funky relationship with the web. I’m focused on making the music shine- let the musicians focus on being creative- that’s my motto.

So here’s the idea:

Like Us on Facebook, Upload a Photo, Win a Website.

Renot Records is Giving Away a Website to the Best Concert Photo

YOUR ASSIGNMENT

Upload a photo on Facebook
from a summer concert! It can be of you and your friends, the stage, the crowd- whatever you feel tells the story of your summer concert. You can submit as many photos as you like before June 30th. Then you and everyone else can vote for your favorite entries, and from those we’ll pick the winner!

THE PRIZE
Winner will receive a 5-page content management based website or the equilvalent of “Touring” services from Renot Records. No cash awarded.

How It Works
• Enter by 11:59 PM Eastern time, Jun 30
• Vote from 9:00 AM, Jun 30 until 11:00 PM, Jul 3
• Winner selection is Monday, Jul 4

That’s the plan.

Tell your friends. If you know a musician, tell them- or you can enter and give them the website if you win!
